Just ended the SocialTrip with #SienteTeruel after spending a few fabulous days in the Comarca del Matarraña (Valderrobres, Peñarroya de Tastavins, Beceite). The experience of being with social media experts and bloggers has been wonderful. Matarraña is one of ten municipals in the province of Teruel.
Words cannot express the gratitude to all, especially sienteTeruel, Diputación de Teruel (@dpteruel), and Emocion7 (@emocion7) for all the tactical planning to create a true Matarraña experience. From the beginning of the journey, it was stupendous.

- I was welcomed kindly by Santa Agueda Apartamentos to our rural ¨casa¨ in the center of Valderrobres with fresh flowers;
- A few of us dined with the alcalde (Mayor) of Valderrobres, Carlos Boné,
- We all had a private guided tour of the Castillo and Iglesia de Valderrobres by a very kind and patient man;
- We were welcomed openly to the casa rural by the fabulous group, Mas del Aragonés;
- We made bread with the 83 year-old grandmother, Trinidad and sausages;
- We lunched at the rural house with homemade bread and soup, jamón, olives, cheese, and meat;
- We listened to the fabulous Salomé Abril and Sarabel Delgado Gómez of Les Morenillas;
- We took a dip in the freezing but refreshing Rio Matarraña in Beceite!
- Afterwards, we were invited by the owner, Javi Moragrega (@JaviSolfa) of the very ultra-hip Hotel La Fabrica de Solfa for a drink.
- We were completely spoiled with a dinner celebration filled with the local gastronomy including a delicious rice and snail dish, chorizo, jamón, rabbit, black pudding and baked goods with almonds (Carquiñols, las Casquetas o Crespells, almendarados, el Pan durmiendo) and savory wines. My personal favourite was the creamy goat cheese. Thank you to all the local companies who provided the food;
- We celebrated the birthday of the extraordinary social media guru, Maria Infante (@mariainfante), with the fabulous music by the very cool DJ Bul (Agustin Arambul @bulbulsuperbul);
- We enjoyed fabulous sangria and tortilla as we were introduced to the fine art of box stitching with the local women of Beceite at the Hotel Font del Pas.
…and of course a huge thanks to all that planned the journey, Ana Santos, Luis Jaime Gómez, Carmen Urbano, Encarna Maorad, Eli (Comarca Matarraña @somosMatarranya).
